Ranking is not for sale. We used to sell higher placement in search results. We stopped, and removed it from the code. Where you appear is decided by whether you registered yourself, whether we have cross-checked your Bar Council enrolment, and how clients actually engage with your profile — never by payment. A client reading a result list is entitled to assume it reflects relevance.
We also stopped charging a monthly fee for inquiry volume we cannot yet promise. If and when we charge advocates again, it will be per client inquiry we actually deliver to you, so the risk sits with us rather than with you. You will be told before that happens, and it will never be a fee for placement.

No. It is a one-time charge for that one document. There is no recurring billing, nothing to cancel, and no card stored for later. If you generate another document later and want that as a file too, you pay for that one separately.
Because the drafting work is not the same. A letter or an RTI application is ₹149. A legal notice, which has to be drafted to actually hold up if it is relied on later, is ₹299. A contract, a will or a power of attorney is ₹499. The NRI document pack is ₹4,999, and includes the signing, notarisation and attestation steps needed for a document executed abroad to be valid in India. You always see the opening of the draft, and the exact price, before you are asked to pay.
A listed advocate reads the document you generated and sends back written comments — what looks wrong, what is missing, what to be careful about — within three working days. It does not include the advocate redrafting the document, appearing for you, or acting as your advocate on the matter. It is a second pair of eyes, not representation, and it does not create an advocate-client relationship with SimplifyLaw.
Two reasons, both honest. The paid tiers mostly sold higher placement in search results, which quietly turned a list clients read as relevance-ordered into an auction — we were not comfortable with that, so we removed it. And we were charging a monthly fee for client inquiry volume the directory does not yet reliably produce, which is not a fair thing to bill for. Listing is free until we can genuinely deliver inquiries, at which point advocates will pay per inquiry delivered.
No. Payment has no effect on search order anywhere on the site, and there is no badge an advocate can buy. Ranking considers whether the advocate registered themselves, whether an admin has cross-checked their Bar Council enrolment against public records, and genuine engagement with the profile.
If the PDF or Word file fails to generate, or the document is not what you bought, write to us and we will refund in full. Advocate reviews are refundable in full any time before an advocate has started reading your document. See the refund policy for details.
Advocates self-attest their Bar Council enrolment number when they register. Our admin team performs best-effort cross-checks against publicly available Bar Council records, but we do not guarantee verification. The "Bar Council Cross-Checked" badge appears only when an admin has manually confirmed your enrolment; it cannot be purchased.
