Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions on simplifylaw.in, operated by Tandsol Private Limited. It covers lawyer directory listing subscriptions and any other paid services offered through the Platform.

2. Annual Plan Refund
- If you purchase an annual subscription plan, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the purchase date.
- The refund request must be submitted via email to billing@simplifylaw.in from the email address associated with your lawyer account.
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.
- Upon refund, your subscription will be immediately downgraded to the free tier and all premium features will be deactivated.
- Any leads generated during the paid period will remain accessible.
3. Monthly Plan — No Refund
- Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable.
- You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- After cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of the billing cycle.
- No prorated refunds are provided for partial months.
4. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Lawyer Dashboard.
- Cancellation stops future billing but does not trigger a refund for the current period (except for annual plans within the 7-day window).
- After cancellation, your profile remains listed on the free tier with basic features.
5. Exceptions
Refunds outside the standard policy may be considered at the sole discretion of Tandsol Private Limited in the following cases:
- Duplicate charges due to payment processing errors
- Extended Platform downtime (more than 72 consecutive hours) affecting paid features
- Unauthorized charges (subject to verification)
6. How to Request a Refund
- Send an email to billing@simplifylaw.in with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your registered email address, lawyer ID, and Razorpay payment ID
- Specify the reason for the refund request
- We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours
7. Payment Processing
All payments are processed through Razorpay. Refunds are initiated through the same payment gateway and are subject to Razorpay's processing timelines. The Company is not responsible for delays caused by the payment processor or your bank.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy. Changes will not apply retroactively to purchases made before the change. The current policy at the time of purchase will govern refund eligibility.
