Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions on simplifylaw.in, operated by Tandsol Private Limited. It covers lawyer directory listing subscriptions and any other paid services offered through the Platform.

1. Subscription Plans

2. Annual Plan Refund (Pro-Rata, 14 Days)

  • If you purchase an annual subscription plan, you may request a pro-rata refund within 14 calendar days of the payment date.
  • The refund is calculated as: (unused days / 365) × plan price, less a 5% processing charge on the refunded amount. Days already consumed are not refundable.
  • Request must be submitted via email to support@simplifylaw.in from the email address associated with your advocate account.
  • Acknowledgment within 48 hours. Refund processed within 7 business days; the payment gateway (Razorpay) typically takes an additional 5–7 days to credit the original payment method.
  • Upon refund, your subscription is immediately downgraded to the free tier and all premium features are deactivated.
  • Any leads generated during the paid period remain accessible.

3. Monthly Plan - No Refund

  • Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable in all circumstances.
  • You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • After cancellation you retain access to paid features until the end of the billing cycle.
  • No pro-rata refund is provided for partial months on the monthly plan.

4. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Lawyer Dashboard.
  • Cancellation stops future billing but does not trigger a refund for the current period (except for annual plans within the 7-day window).
  • After cancellation, your profile remains listed on the free tier with basic features.

5. Exceptions

Refunds outside the standard policy may be considered at the sole discretion of Tandsol Private Limited in the following cases:

  • Duplicate charges due to payment processing errors
  • Extended Platform downtime (more than 72 consecutive hours) affecting paid features
  • Unauthorized charges (subject to verification)

6. How to Request a Refund

  • Send an email to support@simplifylaw.in with the subject line "Refund Request"
  • Send from the email address associated with your advocate account
  • Include your registered email address, advocate ID, and Razorpay payment ID
  • Specify the reason for the refund request
  • We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and process eligible refunds within 7 business days. Razorpay typically takes 5–7 additional days to credit your original payment method.

7. Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Razorpay. Refunds are initiated through the same payment gateway and are subject to Razorpay's processing timelines. The Company is not responsible for delays caused by the payment processor or your bank.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy. Changes will not apply retroactively to purchases made before the change. The current policy at the time of purchase will govern refund eligibility.
